The offer
Refer a friend to Energy Direction Pty Ltd ("Energy Direction", "we"). When your friend’s new home solar and/or battery system is installed and paid for in full:
- you (the referrer) get $150 cash, and
- your friend gets $150 off their system price.
The rules
- Homes only. The program covers residential solar and battery installs, including farmhouses. Commercial and business jobs are not included. Battery-only and solar-only add-ons to an existing system are included.
- Who can refer. Anyone aged 18 or over can refer, including Energy Direction staff. You don’t need to be an Energy Direction customer.
- Your friend must be a new customer. Your friend can’t already be a lead, quote or customer of Energy Direction when you refer them. If we quoted them more than 12 months ago and that quote wasn’t accepted, they count as new.
- Name the referral early. Your friend must give us your name when they first get in touch, and in any case before they accept their quote. We can’t add a referral after the quote has been accepted.
- Where. Your friend’s install must be in Western Australia, in Perth metro or regional WA, subject to a site check.
- The friend’s $150 off. The $150 discount comes off your friend’s final price after all rebates and incentives have been applied. It is shown on their quote and invoice. It can’t be exchanged for cash.
- When and how the referrer gets paid. We pay your $150 by bank transfer to an account in your name, within 14 days of your friend’s final payment, once their system is installed and their invoice is paid in full.
- Bank details. When your reward is due, we’ll contact you by phone or email to get your bank details (account name, BSB and account number). We never ask for bank details over Facebook or Messenger.
- One reward per install. Each new install earns one $150 reward, paid to one referrer. If more than one person refers the same friend, the first person your friend names gets the reward.
- No limit. There’s no limit on how many friends you can refer. Every friend who goes ahead earns you $150.
- Can’t be combined. The friend’s $150 off can’t be used together with any other Energy Direction discount, promotion or special offer. Government rebates and incentives still apply as normal. A referred friend can refer others once their own system is installed.
- Cancellations. If your friend’s job is cancelled or refunded, no reward is payable. If the reward has already been paid, we may ask for it back.
- Tax. Rewards are a thank-you payment. You’re responsible for any tax that applies to you.
- Privacy. Only pass on a friend’s details if they’re happy for you to, or simply ask them to contact us. We use referral details only to run the program and to contact your friend about their enquiry. We don’t share them with anyone else.
- Changes. The program has no end date. Energy Direction can change, pause or end it at any time. Referrals named before a change will be honoured under the terms that applied when they were named.
- Our decision. Energy Direction decides whether a referral is eligible.
